Things that make you go Hmmm...
An interesting fact about Francis, UT
In the 1890s, the Utah Central Railroad hired Francis locals as labor for preparing and laying a new track through the area. The project went bust and the workers were never paid, so they disassembled the project, taking the sturdy railroad ties as wages-owed, and eventually turning them into fenceposts for their own small holdings.
